Electric Sheep

Charoen Krung's fourth-floor kitchen with a sci-fi streak
No sign at street level, just a lift at the back of the block. Ride it up four floors and you land in a room DestinAsian named one of the Bangkok places to eat in right now. The cooking leans contemporary, heavy on smoke and ferments.
Expect a minute of standing on the pavement looking lost before you find the lift. Worth timing with a drink in Talat Noi after.

Electric Sheep is pure Blade Runner - neon, shadows, that half-machine, half-dream atmosphere. The chef’s menu was excellent from start to finish. My favourite was the fried eggplant, absolutely stunning. And even though I was already full, the dessert completely floored me - chocolate from Chiang Mai with sorbet. Unforgettable evening.

A truly special culinary experience✨ From the moment you step into this place, you can feel that every detail is part of the experience. It’s clear how much thought, creativity, and care has gone into creating every little element. I especially loved their commitment to supporting local producers — knowing that the ingredients and products used by the restaurant are locally sourced makes the experience even more meaningful to me. I also loved their philosophy of wasting nothing: every ingredient is thoughtfully reused and transformed into the dishes in incredibly creative ways. It’s such a beautiful and inspiring approach to food. The food itself was incredible: unique dishes, beautiful flavors, and so much creativity. The service was warm and heartfelt, and even the way the menu is presented is one of the most creative and thoughtful things I’ve ever seen. Thank you for thinking about every single moment of the experience, from the second a guest walks through your door. I enjoyed every moment and will definitely be coming back❤️

I honestly expected Mediterranean food to be difficult for my taste, but this place completely exceeded my expectations. What impressed me most was how the dishes were crafted. Many ingredients that tasted like imported specialties were actually fermented and made locally using Thai-grown produce, which made the experience even more interesting. I also appreciated the restaurant’s creativity—not just in the food, but in the thoughtful details of the interior design and its commitment to sustainability. Overall, I think this is a memorable spot for couples or groups of friends who enjoy Western cuisine but are looking for something more unique. It’s a great choice for a weekend date, a reunion, or any special occasion.

It was such a fun dining experience. Every dish tasted incredibly fresh, and you could really appreciate the amount of thought and technique behind each one. The flavors were layered and memorable without feeling overcomplicated. Even the rice-based bread was fantastic. For the quality, creativity, and care that goes into every plate, it’s honestly amazing value. Definitely a place I’ll come back to.

Original and interesting restaurant in a busy spot. Novel way to present the menu (I won’t spoil the surprise), attentive and friendly service and innovative dishes, brining in Thial flavours. As a group including meat eaters, vegetarian and pescatarian, we were offered a tasting menu immediately. Retro music, good wine and semi industrial design make this a recommended experience. The fact we had three different tasting menus all as substantial as each other really stood out. Highly recommend.
