A whole mid-century house behind Chiang Mai University

One house, rented to one group at a time, in the quiet grid between the university and Wat Umong. Low wooden furniture, warm lamps, big windows onto the garden. Thai travel accounts found it fast, and they all say the same thing: it feels like someone's home, not a rental.

Room for four to six to cook and actually work. This is Suthep, where long-stay residents and remote workers live, not the tourist strip. Bookings run through Instagram and Line, and the house often gets held for several nights running.

Good to know

• The whole house goes to one booking - rates are set by group size, from around 3,500 baht for four.
• Wat Umong and the back-of-campus coffee shops are within a few minutes; Nimman is a short ride east.
