Yemeni coffee lands on Haywood Road's beer strip
MochaBox took over the old UpCountry Brewing building on Haywood Road, right in the same complex as Diatribe Brewing. It's a stretch known for beer, so a shop built around Yemeni coffee traditions stands out fast.
Up front there's a smoothie bar, and a full coffee counter runs in back with Yemeni coffee next to espresso drinks and smoothies. It's family-run, and the hospitality feels as deliberate as the drinks.

Great spot, way bigger on the inside than it looks from outside. Cool vibe. Large menu for a coffee shop. Spacious and good for hanging out with friends and people, more so than a lot of the "cozy" coffee shops in town. Highly recommend. Hidden gem, You wouldn't know from looking from the street.

Easily a 10/10 experience. My fiancé and I got to try the viral fruit pastries here. We ensured to call before coming to confirm they had them. The barista was very sweet and welcoming. The desserts were everything we had hoped they would be…we even tried all 6 flavors! The matcha was just as good. Highly recommend, it’s a hidden gem!

Food was amazing!! The biscoff latte taste just like a biscoff cookie. The fruit pastry’s are amazing!! Definitely worth the social media hype. I also got a chicken shawarma wrap and it is amazing!

My kids were wanting to try the viral fruit pastries and were happy to find Mocha Box sold them. We tried the raspberry and mango. They were amazing! They were light and not overly sweet. The “jam” on the inside was so flavorful and delicious. Given it was late in the day I didn’t get any coffee but the menu looked amazing. The cafe itself is beautiful the chandeliers are gorgeous, it’s giving elegant and yet the vibe still feels casual. We will be back again to try brunch and the delicious looking coffee.

We had Adani tea and dessert and everything was delicious. The place is gorgeous with a very nice atmosphere. There is a bit of a wait presumably because of understaffing, but our experience was still great.
