67 Airstreams, cabins and tents on the French Broad River

Skip the parking-lot glamping and book a night on actual riverbank. AutoCamp's Asheville outpost spreads 67 units across 16 acres north of downtown: 55 custom Airstreams, two cabins, tents and the brand's smaller Bambi trailers, all set around a clubhouse with a shop, coffee and a fire pit.

It's the first AutoCamp in North Carolina and the first glamping property of this size the area has seen. Blue Ridge trailheads are a short drive out, but the river frontage is the real draw.

Good to know

• March and early spring rates run well below summer - the property opened in March 2026 at introductory pricing.
• The smaller Bambi units sleep two and are the cheapest way in; the cabins are the only option with a full kitchen.
