Twenty-five rooms in an old bank, vault door still on its hinges
The vault door is still there, right where the bank left it, and that's the detail that makes Hotel Richemont worth the stop. Twenty-five rooms fill the old building on King and Society streets, several of them bi-level suites with their own kitchens, more like a small residence than a hotel floor.
Downstairs is Two Bit Club, cooking Vietnamese-influenced food for a crowd that has nothing to do with the guests upstairs. Indigo Road Hospitality Group, a Charleston company better known for restaurants, developed the project.

I just want to give a huge shoutout to Diane at Hotel Richemont! She was amazing to work with and really took care of me while I was planning my girlfriend’s birthday and our anniversary. She was super patient with me, paid attention to all the little details, and really made an effort to help me make everything special for her. You can tell she genuinely cares about the guests and represents the hotel extremely well. Thank you again, Diane, for all your help and patience. I really appreciate everything you did to help make this a special experience for my girlfriend and me!

Listen up: this one’s a real GEM! Hotel Richemont is that boutique hotel that exudes warmth & “true southern charm.” The location cannot be beat —in the center of it all… I must personally shout out both Sabrina and LaTonya who went above & beyond to make my stay sooooo so enjoyable. Also ate at the great Vietnamese restaurant on site (“Two Bit Club”) for their happy hr—lovely food and bartenders. I 100% RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.🙌

This hotel was incredible. Diane at the front desk made the stay pure magic. The room was beautiful and the location was perfect. All the recommendations from the staff were spot on for our taste. Will stay again every time I visit Charleston.

This is a lovely hotel in downtown Charleston with a wonderful entry that’s covered with a little patio. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, but most of all the service was amazing: as we checked out I was not feeling well and told them I would rest on the patio. They brought me tea and crackers! I’ll also note that the two big club attached is a lovely place to have a like dinner and cocktail.

We stayed in one of the suites for a quick girls trip and from the moment we walked into the lobby, we had an incredible experience. The service was above and beyond in all aspects. Diane met every request with a smile and Lindsay provided the best recommendations! The hotel is right on the corner or Society & King Streets and everything was very walkable. The suite was stocked with dishes, silverware and cookware and well decorated. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I will definitely be coming back
