CurrentBurger is the casual counter The Cooper hotel tucked into its waterfront complex on the old Union Pier site, next to sibling spots Cooper Coffee & Wine and The Crossing. It previewed to the public around the Fourth of July, fast and informal by design.

Come straight off the beach or the marina, salt still on your skin. It's steps from the hotel's 191 rooms but built for anyone who wants a quick burger with a harbor view, not a sit-down scene.

We were impressed by our visit. The burgers were pretty average smash burgers but still good. The sweet potatoe fries and homemade sodas were excellent. The service was the best part of the experience. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The prices were very reasonable as well, especially for the location. $10 cheeseburger and $12 bacon cheeseburger. We would eat here again

Almost a perfect place with one of the best smashed burger in all SC, why it is not a 10? Some days the flavor for some reason it's not the same (Specifically the patties), other than that the fries and milkshakes are terrific. Also amazing service from everyone.

This is a great burger joint! Perfect stop for a quick cheap bite as you walk along the water. Calling all vegetarians: the Green Machine veggie burger is a falafel patty, delicious and not just a fake meat afterthought.

Delectable classic hamburger, fries and shake! Matched with their locally made drink and southern hospitality. Great place to dine with loved ones and friends. The place is a bit confined so if you're going there during the peak of lunch or dinner, there'll be some chat time before you get seated and enjoy the meal.

The food was delicious! The service was great everyone was attentive and nice, and the atmosphere was cool!!! I love the location bc you can go for a scenic walk afterwards to the pineapple fountain.
