Sushi Bar and Bellerose Hotel Bar

Omakase sushi and a steakhouse bar, one address
Two restaurants, one door. Sushi Bar runs a proper omakase counter while Bellerose Hotel Bar next door pours steakhouse-style drinks and food, and neither format has to share the spotlight with the other.
Church Street's old brick backdrop is one of the peninsula's most photographed blocks, and it gives the omakase program a setting that matches its ambition. Come for the counter, stay for a nightcap next door.

Probably the best filet I have ever had (as well as the most expensive but worth every penny), extremely tender! The flounder was also very good as was the bread and Mac and cheese. Would definitely go back

Bellerose is taking hospitality to the next level. They treated us like restaurants in CHS do after I’ve worked with them for years. But, we didn’t know any of these lovely humans until we bellied up to the bar. They did some sleuthing and found out it was my birthday, then truly made a girl feel special. Chef Anthony and his team are crushing it! DJ behind the bar, Jack, and Brianna couldn’t have been more kind and engaging. Vincent’s wine program is so on point. The space is incredibly cozy and very sexy. Every dish was as beautiful as it was delicious. Don’t sleep on the little gems salad, bluefin tuna carpaccio, the rolls (that butter omg), or the tiramisu. It’s nice to see this building is back in the mix again.

We had a great dinner here. The ambience is so warm/classy and the service was great. Gem salad was 10/10 along with the rolls! Love the complimentary champagne. I’d go back!

I thought it was just fine. For the price point I expected better. Would highly recommend the sushi bar over Bellrose. I really liked the vibe and service though. Maybe it’s a place for a cocktail and app. I had the ribeye and it was really average for the price.
