Steak and seafood get equal billing on East Bay

The name tells you exactly what you're getting: a modern steakhouse that takes its seafood program as seriously as its chops. That's rarer than it sounds on a strip full of steak-first menus that treat fish as an afterthought.

It's the fifth restaurant from Neighborhood Dining Group in Charleston, sitting toward the north end of the historic core. The group's expansion has been steady rather than flashy, and this spot did well enough that they opened a Savannah location under the same name.

We celebrated my birthday at Marbled & Fin, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, everything was absolutely amazing. The food was outstanding. Every single dish we ordered came out perfectly, and honestly, we didn’t have a single complaint. You can tell they take pride in both the quality and presentation of their food. A huge shoutout to Austin, who was our server/host. He was incredible! He was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, answered all of our questions with confidence, gave great recommendations, and made us feel so welcome. Beyond the excellent service, he was genuinely personable and made great conversation, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. I also want to recognize the young lady who was helping throughout the evening by keeping our waters filled, clearing the table, and making sure everything stayed clean and comfortable. I unfortunately didn’t catch her name, but she absolutely deserves recognition. She was attentive, kind, and helped everything run so smoothly. The combination of amazing food and exceptional service made my birthday dinner one I’ll always remember. Thank you to the entire team at Marble & Finn for making my celebration feel so special. We will definitely be back! 💙🍽️🥂

We had our first dinner there tonight and it was fabulous! The attention to detail from the time we entered until we finished dessert was an exceptional experience. The menu has something for everyone from appetizers to dessert and the drink pairings are exceptional. Don’t forget to have a cocktail as well. I had the “That John Denver” which is their spin on the Tom Collins and my wife had the “Catamaran Tan” which is their spin on Gin and Tonic. For appetizers we had the oysters on the half shell and the broiled oysters and bone marrow. We split the wedge salad. For dinner I had the pan seared grouper with clam velouté capers and herbs, creamed corn and triple cooked steak fries. My wife had the wet aged 8 ounce fillet and we split the fries and creamed corn. The wine was a half bottle of Saint-Emilion full bodied red. Dessert was Profiteroles with and Itialian Chianti for her and I had the tropical cake paired with a Portuguese Madeira. Overall and excellent dining experience and we will be back!

An Absolute Masterclass in Hospitality and Steak We went to Marbled & Fin to celebrate our anniversary, and they blew us away from the moment we walked through the door. The front desk staff greeted us warmly and asked where we were from. They actually passed that background info along to our server, Brett, who brought it up naturally when he first came to our table. Talk about making a guest feel genuinely valued right out of the gate! The team also treated us to a hand-written anniversary card, a fantastic complimentary cocktail (a perfectly balanced gimlet), and a delicious starter of crackers paired with a sweet cream dip. The food itself was nothing short of incredible: * The Sides: We ordered the creamed corn, and oh my goodness, it was amazing. It features a sweet cornbread base topped with incredibly rich, creamy corn and a layer of melted Parmesan cheese. Absolute perfection. * The Mains: My wife got the steak frites, and I went with the 16 oz ribeye. It was cooked flawlessly to temperature and beautifully seasoned. When they delivered it, they offered a drizzle of garlic butter juice right on top—definitely say yes to that, because it takes the flavor to a whole new level. * The Drinks: I paired my dinner with a single pour of Buffalo Trace on the rocks, which they served over a single large ice cube. It's a small touch, but exactly how a good bourbon should be enjoyed. The ambiance is stunning, the hospitality is elite, and Brett was an incredibly polite, conversive, and attentive server. Marbled & Fin gave us an all-around phenomenal experience. We will absolutely be back!

Gorgeous restaurant with impeccable service and food. Items our table of six would collectively recommend: tomato salad, ceasar salad, porterhouse, milk bread, steak frites, chocolate cake, complimentary champagne(?), potato puree, creamed spinach, onion rings. Items that were good but not as much as the above: espresso martini tap, foie gras bombe, guava end bite, ricotta beginning bite, wagyu bite, asparagus, gratin, truffle mac n cheese Item we would NEVER order again: prime beef tartare. It was terrible. It tasted like we were eating spoonfuls of horseradish and mustard. Couldn’t taste anything else except for that. We ended up sending it back and getting the foie gras which was sweet and savory with fried toast points, which was MUCH better than the tartare. All other food was wonderfully cooked and seasoned. Service was so nice and attentive. Very, very busy restaurant. Beautifully decorated, music was nice restrooms were so clean and loved the little mouthwash packets. Would be the perfect place for a wedding reception, just don’t order the tartare.
