AC Hotel Las Vegas Symphony Park

★ 3.9 · 173 reviews Las Vegas Opened 9 September 2025

No casino, no smoke and no slot floor to cross

What makes it notable is what it lacks: no casino, no smoke and no gaming license. That's a rarity this close to downtown. Instead there's a coffee bar, piano lounge, pool and restaurant, aimed at Smith Center concertgoers and conventioneers.

A five-story building holds 441 rooms as two hotels sharing one roof: AC Hotel by Marriott and Element by Westin. It opened 9 September 2025 in Symphony Park, downtown's cultural district near the Smith Center.

Good to know

  • There is no casino - that is the point. If you want quiet nights near downtown, this is one of very few options.
  • The Smith Center and the Discovery children's museum are next door, and the Arts District is a short ride away.
  • Two brands share the building: pick Element over AC if you want a kitchenette and free breakfast.

Great experience! The hotel just opened recently, so everything is very new, clean, and well maintained. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The price is also very reasonable for the quality you get. Highly recommended!

Loved the hotel, loathe the front entrance. Parking is next door at the parking facility. I was traveling with my dog, and she loved it, and the staff loved her. Once they sort out the front entrance area so you can easily drive up and check-in, it’s 5 stars. Friendly staff. Super clean. Rooms are great. Awesome experience overall.

It’s not quite on the strip but close enough. The shopping in the area is nice and close to Fremont. The staff accused me of credit card fraud and repeatedly tried to charge the “card in file” that she proclaimed was under the name Juan Perez.. idk who this person is but I booked through a third party site, the third party’s booking site secures the reservation with the hotel. I asked her to call the cops and watch the cameras but she refused. She could have called the third party, but she decided to lie repeatedly saying that she was promoting me to swipe and my card was locking her system [up]. I never made an attempt to swipe my card at that point. There wasn’t a prompt to swipe my card. Then she accused me of swiping four cards for incidentals and another associate informed her that I tried to use multiple cards. This was a third party reservation. If staff are not trained on third party reservations, direct reservations might be the way to go. She finally allowed me to use my physical card for incidentals. I hope she charges me a resort fee considering the poor customer support. Idk her name but she said she was a manager and has red hair at the time. She says a Sofia said I used four cards when I did not. She did not mention, as a manager, what she did. I wanted to help her get exactly what she wanted or at least what she wanted to see. Maybe cop intervention could be the excitement she’s looking for who knows. Anyway, this was not racism. If the card in file says Juan Perez, that has to do with the third party booking site. The third party’s procedure is not my fault. I pay third party, third party pays hotel. It sounds more like a matter of training.

I have stayed here multiple times, largely due to the exceptional service. Joanna, who has assisted me on numerous occasions during check-in, is consistently helpful, friendly, and welcoming. She truly understands the importance of great customer service—always greeting guests with a smile and going above and beyond to accommodate their needs. I highly recommend this hotel not only for its ambiance but for the people that make it worth your while to make you feel at home while you're away from home.
