Indonesian cooking and an espresso bar, from the team behind Iki Nori.

Padi opened on Sunset on 9 March 2026, with the dinner menu following a week later. It comes from Iki Hospitality, the group behind Iki Nori, and the chef-owner grew up in Bali.

By day it runs as a café: coffee, matcha, a full food menu. At night it turns quieter and darker. The dinner menu holds a handful of small plates, gado-gado and scallop sashimi, satay cooked over charcoal, plus four larger dishes built for sharing. Indonesian food is rare in Los Angeles, and this is the most ambitious take on it the city has seen in years.
