Culver City's sandwich counter opens a sunny second shop on Vine

Monroe Place started in Culver City and built a following on a menu short enough to read in ten seconds. In July 2026 it opened a second counter on Vine Street in Hollywood, a daytime-only room with the same tight list.

Baguettes come stuffed with burrata and confit tomato; there's a chicken caesar built on focaccia. The one to order is the W.L.F., a Persian-influenced turkey sandwich with pomegranate molasses and barberries. They sell out often enough that checking before you drive over is sensible.

Good to know

• Go early, the shop is daytime-only and regularly sells out before close.
