Aitor Zabala's two-star tasting counter is the priciest seat in Los Angeles

Somni reopened on Nemo Street on 26 November 2024 after years without a permanent home. The comeback landed hard: two Michelin stars in 2025, then a spot on America's 50 best restaurants the year after.

Chef Aitor Zabala trained under Albert Adrià and runs a long tasting menu built from tiny, technical courses. It's the most expensive restaurant in Los Angeles, and most local critics rank it among the best. The room is smoke-free under West Hollywood law and seats only a handful of diners at once.
