Frank 'n' Frank's

★ 4.9 · 17 reviews Los Angeles Opened June 2026

Focaccia sandos in Chinatown's old Burgerlords kiosk.

Frank 'n' Frank's took over the walk-up kiosk in Chinatown's Central Plaza that Burgerlords used to run, opening there in June 2026. It comes from a former Howlin' Ray's chef, the one the Mario Fries at that restaurant are named after.

The list is short and built on focaccia: a spicy Italian with 'nduja, a turkey-bacon club, a PB&J that can be upgraded with candied bacon. Salads and hot dogs round it out. It runs late on Fridays and Saturdays, until 1:30am.

Good to know

  • Open until 1:30am on Friday and Saturday, one of Chinatown's few late counters.

Don’t really get the hype. Decent sandwich at best. Worst part was the size. $20 sandwich for that size is kind of a joke.

One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever tasted. It was surpassed by the customer service I received from all the workers here. 10/10 would recommend

Over enjoyed the lunch date my girl and I went on to F&F. Solid sandwiches and I enjoyed the oolong cream soda. While not normally my kind of drink, it was pleasant and refreshing. 60 bucks for 2 people for lunch plus tip was a little rough, but those are the times we live in. We will 100% be back.

MADDIE! What a gem! We got there early and she was so lovely and chatting with us about the menu + some secret menu items. The focaccia was soft and pillowy and every sandwich was balanced to perfection, we will be back! As we were eating, they came out and brought us complimentary cold water bottles. The little things ✨ and as someone from LA, this is what I love about the youth of Chinatown. Thank you for creating gems in such special areas of LA. We notice!
