Sushi Nroo

Maximalist rolls in a vintage cottage below Dodger Stadium.
Sushi Nroo opened on Sunset in June 2026, a short walk downhill from Dodger Stadium. The building looks like an old Japanese cottage; the menu doesn't share that restraint.
This is roll territory: deep-fried Philly rolls, spicy tuna crispy rice, alongside straightforward nigiri and cut rolls at prices that stay reasonable. Ramen, gyoza and takoyaki cover anyone skipping the raw fish.
Good to know
- Handy before or after a Dodgers game, it's downhill from the stadium on Sunset.

First time here and we’re all impressed with the quality and the taste of our food. Most favorite dishes were Toro uni bowl, sweet shrimp and uni sushi. Ambience and service were nice too.

I dont normally give out 5 stars and I travel a lot for food but this place was amazing. Friendly attentive staff, fresh sushi (loved red snapper!!!!) and lastly in this economy especially in LA, the price was RIGHT. In the heart of Echo Park, I am not quite sure how they are able to offer such affordable price for sushi. They even added extra sashimi pieces on the side for free. I would def be coming back.

Went to Sushi NROO for late lunch; ordered three sushi rolls: Hawaiian, Baja, and Caterpillar rolls and they all tasted fresh and great. (You know some sushi restaurants don’t use the freshest ingredients for rolls because sauces can cover up the fishy smell of less fresh sashimi but this is not the case here). Loved their no rice rolls too!

Really enjoyed dinner here. Live around the corner so its perfect for a low key dinner but with nice vibes. Sushi's pretty good - quality is good but not competing with more high end sushi places, but for the price its fine. My boyfriend liked the beef teriyaki but suggested they have a beef udon soup. Maybe more options for non fish eaters in the future would be cool. Happy this spots apart of the neighborhood! Will be a regular
