Excellent pastries and coffee. Lots of independent artist merchandise for sale too. Love the details in the decor. Opening hours are very limited though.

I loved this place! The banana crumb coffee cake was absolutely delicious! And for a drink, I had a hot coffee and added the cold whipped cream on top. That was such a good choice. The barista was very kind. There was plenty of parking, and it wasn’t very busy for a Saturday. I had a great experience!

I am a proud local who goes to this bakery at least once a week and I can say after MANY experiences and having tried most of their menu, this place is so so good. The pastries are next level. Super gourmet sweet treats, incredible morning buns, even a few savory treats mixed in. My tried and true go-to favorites are: orange cardamom morning buns (THE BEST), lemon or raspberry danish, the banana crumb cake, and the tiramisu brownie. They also have a simple coffee menu, and everything is always super delicious. The space is gorgeous and the people are SO kind. I really can’t recommend this place enough!

I had Sift on my list for a while because I’m a big fan of bakeries and baked goods. I happened to be at a nearby coffee shop and realized I was right by it, so I had to stop in and finally try it. First of all, the place is huge—very spacious and beautifully set up. Everything looked incredibly good, and I really appreciated the portion sizes. At some bakeries the pastries are either too big or overwhelming, but these felt like the perfect size for one person to enjoy. I ended up getting a kouign-amann, a tiramisu brownie, and a chocolate chip cookie. I actually asked for a regular brownie, but the cashier accidentally gave me the tiramisu brownie—and I’m honestly so glad she did because it was amazing. Everything I tried was delicious. Nothing was overly sweet; the flavors were balanced, subtle, and really well done. Also, the girl working at the counter during the weekend was so calming, welcoming, and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. I also noticed they serve coffee, so next time I go I’m planning to try more items and take some pictures. I’d definitely recommend Sift Bakery to anyone who enjoys great pastries and a lovely atmosphere.

New favorite must-stop when we’re in Nashville. Atmosphere and selection were 10/10! The options were a nod to the classics that I love, but ingredients were upgraded and so thoughtful. 🤌 Plus you could tell bakers understood pastry and desserts, we sampled four different items and they were all perfectly balanced…nothing overly indulgent or sweet just because. Wife said honey lavender matcha was the best she’d ever had..! She’s still talking about the whipped cream. 😂
