Denver's taqueria on Gray Street

Dos Santos arrived from Denver in December 2024 and took a room on Gray Street in Wedgewood-Houston. The neighborhood already had a crowded field of new Mexican restaurants.

The cooking leans Yucatán, the tequila list runs long. It shares a block with The Sicilian Butcher and Fishmonger, so parking is the hard part.

The El Chango breakfast burrito with bacon is the best breakfast burrito is Nashville. It has a nice sweetness from the plaintains and you get a lot for your money. This is now my go-to place for breakfast burritos.

Stopped in on a family road trip. It was a little off from the hectic part of traffic, making it less stressful to access. Parking was right next door and we only paid 4 dollars for an hour. The vibe was unique and the family had a good time. Interesting spots nearby for photos. Josh took care of us, he was a good dude. Picky eater approved.

The food was SO good. Super fresh, flavorful, and seasoned. The atmosphere is elevated but laid back. We sat outside at a nice big table, and aside from the noise of construction, it was perfect- and the construction is totally out of their/our control.. so no critiques at all! The house margarita and paloma were amazing, and the guacamole was some of the best I’ve had!! Fav tacos were the crispy pork belly, governor’s shrimp, and crispy beef.

Had a great experience at Dos Santos. Bartender Tyler really took care of us from the moment we sat down. The house margaritas were excellent—fresh, balanced, and easy to keep ordering. A special shoutout to Executive Chef Cyle for the new Jell-O shots. They're served in an actual orange with lime zest, and they're absolutely killer. Creative, flavorful, and a fun twist that sets them apart from anything else I've tried. Between the great service, outstanding drinks, and unique food and drink specials, Dos Santos delivered a memorable experience. We'll definitely be back!

This has very quickly become my favorite spot in Nashville. I came here shortly after its opening and come at least once a week now. The Margs are the best in the city. The food is fantastic and the service is great- and also very affordable. The atmosphere and vibes are also 10/10. You can come in your cutest outfit or post workout (like I do often). They have a great bar and great outdoor area. It’s in a great area of Nash and I reccomend this place to anyone and everyone. 12/10 in my book.
