Bar Mar took the old Carne Mare room at the W Nashville in March 2026 and turned it into the most serious of the José Andrés restaurants in the building. Oysters, ceviche, Galician-style octopus, and the salt air margarita that made its name in Washington.

There is still pluma ibérica and a ribeye for the table that refuses seafood. Book, because the W's four venues share one crowd.

So good! Everything we tried was delicious!! 🤩 The olives were amazing, the shrimp were so flavorful, and the steak was honestly one of the best I’ve had in Nashville 🥳 Big shoutout to Chef Mauricio for the incredible food. Definitely coming back!

Had a great experience with the tasting menu that was just updated. And also got the Dover sole two ways. This was probally the best way to taste all the Jose Andres flavors and OMG it was the best spread ever.

The staff our amazing, the manager himself is very involved! The food, is very good, but careful on most of the fish dishes they are full flavor. Overall it was a amazing experience and id definitely do it again.

Bar Mar was one of those restaurants where within the first few bites you already know you picked the right place. The entire experience felt elevated without being stuffy. Incredible atmosphere, amazing energy, and the food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish felt intentional, creative, and packed with flavor. The seafood quality was exceptional and you can tell they take pride in every detail from presentation to execution. The menu is unique, fun, and different from the typical steakhouse or seafood experience most places try to imitate. Service was fantastic as well. Attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming without feeling overly formal. This is the type of restaurant you leave talking about for the rest of the night. Easily one of my favorite dining experiences and definitely a spot I’d recommend to anyone looking for a memorable dinner experience. Can’t wait to go back.
