Maru opened its fourth Nashville location in Wedgewood-Houston in September 2025, in a concrete and exposed-pipe space with a few cacti doing the decorating. The menu is unchanged from the others, which is why people go.

Tuna crispy rice and the pirate treasure roll are the standards; the ube colada is the cocktail everyone photographs. Yakitori is the part of the menu most people skip and shouldn't.
