Marble, reclaimed brick and a steak-and-eggs tartare
Sushi Row opened on Martin Street in January 2026 with walnut slab communal tables, marble and reclaimed brick, looking more lived-in than a January opening has any right to. The rolls are familiar; the rest of the menu is not.
Karaage, grilled hamachi kama, and a 'steak and eggs' of tenderloin tartare with caviar are where the kitchen shows off. Present Tense is next door and shares a hallway.

So first and foremost, I want to say that Austin was our server and he was amazing! We absolutely loved him. He was pleasant, attentive, and answered all of our questions. The food was pretty good. We're not from here, but for $150 we expected.... Better. The servings are small plates, which is fine and we knew that going in, but I can't say there was anything that really stood out. We ordered the edamame, karaage, the tacos, and 3 sushi rolls. My husband got the sushi roll with wagyu on top, but he even said "it was middle of the road". The restaurant itself was a very cozy atmosphere and I really enjoyed the look and feel of it. The downside is that it's an open air restaurant, which we didn't realize. The flies and other bugs that made their way in were just horrendous to deal with. Definitely not my style while eating dinner. Now let's talk parking...I drive a large SUV - VW Atlas - so parking in the side lot was really difficult for us, but we made it work. Getting out was even more difficult, but I'm proud to say I only had to back up twice and didn't hit anyone's car (that you know of đ). I mention this bc there were plenty of spots to park, but it was very awkward and stressful to get in and out of them again. So I say all this just as a warning. It was worth a try and if you enjoy open air seating, then definitely go. I don't think we'll return though unfortunately.

My wife and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary at Sushi Row, and it was the perfect choice. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely enjoyed talking with guests. It felt more like being welcomed into a place that appreciates its customers than just another restaurant visit. The atmosphere is modern, stylish, and relaxedâgreat for a date night or special occasion. But the food is what really stood out. Every dish that came to the table looked incredible and tasted even better. The sushi was fresh, beautifully prepared, and packed with flavor. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. What really impressed me was the value. Itâs not often you find a restaurant that delivers outstanding food, excellent service, and a great atmosphere without feeling overpriced. Weâll definitely be back. If youâre looking for great sushi in Nashville, Sushi Row is worth the visit. Great food, great service, great atmosphere, and an overall fantastic experience. Highly recommend. đŁđ„ą

The staff here were so considerate and attentive to my gluten allergy! Also Iâve tried every tuna crispy rice in this city and this one takes the cake by far. They also make a great cocktail. Canât wait to come back here!

Sierra was the BEST waitress ever!! We had the most wonderful experience here. We tried to go to another new sushi restaurant in town and the customer service was not up to par. It really tuned us away. We were able to secure a last-minute reservation in here and felt welcomed from the moment we walked in the door. The food was delicious! And the service was impeccable. We will definitely be coming back here and it was the best spot for a girls dinner.!

Nashville sushi is definitely getting better. Sushi Row is just one example of this serious upgrade over the last 12 months. Crispy rice, outstanding drinks, fresh sushi, wonderful entrees and starters inside a beautiful environment. Parking garage and street parking readily available nearby. Although the desert menu is weak, there is a wonderful italian option across the street for cannoli!!
