Build your own pasta and meatball boards

The Phoenix group brought The Sicilian Butcher to Gray Street in October 2025, and the format is the draw: you build your own pasta, pick your meatballs, assemble a bruschetta board. Indecision is catered for with set dishes like the Sicilian sausage pie and a ten-layer lasagna.

Dessert comes from its sister bakery, The Sicilian Baker, including a build-your-own cannoli bar. Groups do better here than couples.

The Sicilian Butcher exceeded every expectation! The food was outstanding, my favorite was the italian saganaki. You can taste the quality in every bite. One of the highlights was the incredible full dessert bar! It offered an amazing selection of beautiful, delicious desserts, making it nearly impossible to choose just one. It was the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal.

The staff made one of the most difficult days of my life into a memory I will always remember their warmth. It was a difficult day because I was downtown unexpectedly for a pet emergency, and that animal hospital is nearby; so we stumbled into Sicilian Butcher accidentally, worried and exhausted, at lunch early Friday. My wife loves Italian food, and as she was explaining various menu items she had to try, I was greeted by Amanda. Her knowledge of the entirety of the menu was masterful; she explained the lunch-special options (and they are quite attractive both from a value and a deliciousness metric), compared some portion differences and similarities between the lunch and the main menu, and I settled on the lunch special. I had two unique bruschetta that were melodies of interesting components that I wouldn't have thought would work well together. They were hefty portions, too. That's important to me in a lunch special. This wasn't a bruschetta cracker: this was a thick, fresh, soft piece of Italian bread with fresh ingredients and a lovely base spread. My wife cannot pass on saganaki, and YOU SHOULD NOT EITHER. It's one of the most delicious cheese experiences you can have, and I got a somewhat glorious photo for you as they flamed it table-side. My lunch special then came with a fresh pasta - obviously, deliciously, amazingly fresh. I splurged and added the (veal) meatballs, and a week later they're still on my mind dancing happily. The bolognese sauce was classic and perfect. I provbably should have asked for more fresh mozz, but I wasn't thinking too clearly between pet worry and culinary ecstasy. What made the experience truly exceptional was service: As I say, I was there in a terrible moment. And I did share that. And the staff, several differnet people, stopped by to ask about our pet and to wish us well. Food and pets bring us together, and you hear a lot of bupkiss about businesses that treat you like family and you know it's bupkiss. But I can swear to you that on the day my pet had a heart attack (and later passed after our lunch), Amanda and the staff at Sicilian Butcher have left me with a feeling that everything that happened that day was meant to happen, and it's going to be okay. Thanks to the staff. You were amazing. Thanks to the kitchen. I was held together for a weekend by those meatballs and that saganaki.

I went last night. I was able to get a table outside immediately, and the host was welcoming. I think my receipt said Madison W. was the server. She was great. She recommended a sauce for my gnocchi that I really enjoyed. The Panelle & Cazilli appetizer was amazing. The gnocchi was delicious too. I had the Sicilian Olio cocktail, and it was on point. The bakery after dinner was fantastic. Being able to get Reese’s and Biscoff cookie butter stuffed into a white chocolate dipped cannoli after a dinner in the same restaurant is an incredible experience. The price was fair, and it was better than a lot of the surrounding restaurants. I will be back for sure.

Our waitress was training under Nick (sorry forgot your name!) at the high top tables and she gave us the best experience at this restaurant. The garlic bread was the softest bread we've ever had, the pizza was perfection, and we pretty much stuffed our faces and took multiple desserts to go. Love that you can customize your own cannolis with different fillings. Food was made fresh and to order and meals arrived quickly after ordering. Can't wait to come back and eat here next time I visit Nashville!

This restaurant was great! The area was hip. My friend and I went to the Silician Butcher before a TPAC performance. The food was very good. I had lobster bisque and my friend bruschetta; I highly recommend both. There were 4 or so choices for the bruschetta. My friend loved her pasta which was freshly made and my fig n pig sandwich was a homerun. For dessert we spilt a cannoli which are customly made and you will see the station as you enter. Service was impeccable. Very nice find. We will be back
