Sharper Thai cooking on the new Hawthorne strip

Named for the Thai beach town, Hua Hin runs through the familiar repertoire with a sharper, more current hand than the neighborhood's older Thai spots. Curry and a plate of pad see ew are a safe way in.

It landed on SE Hawthorne Boulevard alongside a strong wave of new Thai restaurants that arrived across the city the same year. Walking distance from several of the strip's other new openings, so pair it with a stroll down Hawthorne.
