Austin style brisket, served out of a bar

A bar isn't where you'd expect proper Texas barbecue, but Tough Luck on NE Dekum Street pulls it off. Lil' Barbecue runs the smoker, turning out brisket and ribs cooked low and slow, while the taps keep pouring right next to the meat.

Go with a group and order a plate to share, a round of beer alongside it. It's become one of the reasons to head out to Woodlawn.
