Tijuanero opened in Little Italy in September 2025 at 2102 India Street, a smaller, faster spin-off from Taqueria Tijuanazo, which had already crossed the border into Hillcrest.

Adobada off the trompo is the order. It's counter service, and it stays open later than most of India Street, which matters on that block.

Absolutely one of the best taquerias you’re going to find in the area. The adobada and asada tacos were packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned and cooked with the right amount of crispness. Make sure to add the red salsa to your tacos! Delicious tacos, quick service and affordable pricing. What’s not to love?

Everything I tried was absolutely amazing. The service was impeccable. Luis treated me like I was an old friend rather than a patron who was only there for a few days for work. There is no place like it! The value alone is reason to go, the you taste the food and you feel like you’re in a 5 star restaurant. If you’re in town for a short time, don’t ware time trying other places.

we are in town for the week. the place i had saved to go to had to close early for the day. we had been by this location a couple times on a tour bus and I remembered seeing something about it on Instagram, so we came here. i got a chorizo vampiro and ordered an adobada burrito but got carne asada. not even a little mad about it. everything was so delicious, including the salsa. huge fan!!

I saw this place on Facebook and wanted to try it. Finally tried it and I have to say it's been awhile since I have had good flavorful food like this !! I had the quesabirria tacos and it was very great in flavor and spices. I also had an abodaba vampiro and this i have to say was AMAZING 👏 the sauces that they put on it and the pineapple slices is really an amazing combinations of flavor that on my first bite I just stopped cause it felt heavenly good. Definitely will be back to try more of the menu. If you like authentic Mexican food this is a definite must try.

From a Tijuana native, born&raised there… This tacos are authentic and delicious!!! I’m so happy to have this on our neighborhood, find good tacos won’t be a problem anymore Highly recommend the birria (ask the taquero to make it “doradito”) and obviously get the adobada 🔥🔥🔥 Las salsas si pican rico, truchas con eso ! 🫡
