Origins Grocer opened its South Park shop on 12 September 2025 at 2361 30th Street, selling dry goods, oils and household basics by weight into containers you bring yourself.

Bring jars. They'll sell you some if you forget, but that undercuts the point. The bulk olive oil and the spice wall are what people come back for.

I’ve been meaning to check out Origins Grocer for years now (even when it was under a different name) but since I’m from Orange County it was always a bit of a trip when I had so many local options. Unfortunately the refill scene in OC is no longer what it once was and we barely have any options left. So I decided to finally make the trek down with my empty jars, and I’m so glad I did! They had a wide selection of both edible goods and cleaning/body supplies. I love it when stores have both so it can be a one stop shop for all refilling needs. The space was very busy but there was a coffee pop up inside the shop so I wasn’t surprised. They had a great selection of everything and it had most of what I expected but also a few interesting items in the fridge and fresh baked goods from a local brand. I truly love shopping at refill stores because if I only need a bit of one ingredient I can get exactly what I need and don’t have to worry about waste if I don’t like it. My total for everything I got was just over $20 and I was stocked up with everything I was looking for. I can’t wait to come back!

Wow! What a great addition to SP/NP. This charming & interesting grocery allows you to buy a lot or a little (just what you need for that special meal) and there are tons of household & personal products too, all healthy & easy on the environment. Plenty of things for that sweet tooth too. You’ve got to try it. You won’t be disappointed! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Incredible store and an amazing addition to South Park! Friendly staff, large selection, local produce, so much to offer. You can bring your own containers to refill or find one there for purchase. Check this store out, you won’t be disappointed!

I stopped by this store over the weekend and was really impressed. The shelves were well stocked, everything was easy to find, and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. You can tell the owners have put a lot of care and thought into creating a welcoming, well-run space.
