Okonomiyaki Jiban-Ya

Dinner-only okonomiyaki from the Secret Congee crew
The team behind Secret Congee and Ginger & Scallion opened Okonomiyaki Jiban-Ya in May 2026 on NE Northlake Way. It's windowless, dinner only, and built around one dish.
Fillings run from pork belly to scallops, and one version uses Beecher's cheese, which shouldn't work and does. Two people, two pancakes, done.

Came here on a weekday and got seated really quickly and food came out fast as well. Food was great and the restaurant itself is very nice and large. Only complaint is that there was a table right next to me that was quite loud so it would be nice if they played some music in the resturant. Otherwise would love to come back for the food! Me and my boyfriend loved it.

The food was great and very large portions. The pork belly okonomiyaki was very good and very similar to the one I had in Japan. Definitely work giving a try

The experience here was that of being transported back to Japan. The dinner was excellent, the service was great, and the staff were all incredibly friendly. The food was top notch. Pickled Daikon and the Shime Saba we're both excellent as a starter. They're very generous with the amount of Pickled Daikon that you get. The Okonomiyaki, as you would expect, was the star of the show. The balance of flavors was incredibly well-rounded and the pork belly was done to perfection. I highly encourage everyone to take a few friends for a group dinner. Or take that special someone on a date here as the atmosphere is incredibly cozy and very welcoming.

Decent little place for Japanese fare. A large bar area with booth seating. Was busy when we arrived and it took pretty long for the food to arrive, but it was made up for by the pretty massive portions you get. The food was pretty good though the menu (you order online through a QR site) didn't have any images on it so it was somewhat difficult to tell what we were ordering.
