A modern brasserie anchors this K Street office conversion

Public Interest gives this block on K Street a proper restaurant, a modern brasserie that opened in May 2026. A Bluestone Lane coffee shop faces the street from the ground floor too.

The address is 1776 K Street NW, in the middle of the lobbying corridor. The building is one of the first office to hotel conversions downtown to finish. It reopened in spring 2026 as a 278 room Tempo by Hilton, the young lifestyle brand's first Washington property.

Good to know

Public Interest, the brasserie that opened alongside the hotel, aims at the K Street lunch crowd - a Bluestone Lane handles coffee at street level.
Farragut North and Farragut West metros are each a couple of minutes away, covering both the Red and Orange/Blue/Silver lines.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. Great location, very well maintained rooms and the staff was super helpful and responsive. Solomon and the rest of the staff were very friendly!

We had a great stay at Tempo by Hilton! The valet parking and service were excellent, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and modern, and we felt safe throughout our stay. The location was perfect—within walking distance of many restaurants, museums, and DC monuments. We also enjoyed Bluestone Lane, coffee shop/cafe, located inside the hotel which was very convenient. We would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again!

Great location. The onsite gym is very good quality. Had an onsite laundry area where you can wash and dry your own clothes for very few $. I found that to be extremely handy. Staff were all professional and polite. Would 100% stay here again.
