Gordon Ramsay's first US burger shop

Gordon Ramsay's Street Burger had been a UK-only thing until July 2025, when the first American branch opened on 7th Street in Penn Quarter.

The Hell's Kitchen smash burger carries jalapeños, spicy chutney and crispy onions. There are chicken sandwiches and wings, and the room is louder than the food warrants.

The best thing about this place is the super kid friendly basement with the arcade games, pool table and photo booth. The food was okay. We went here 3 nights in a row. My kids loved the games! We ate the pizza, the burgers and the pasta. The pasta was the best meal of everything I tried (Bacon carbonara). The strawberry sundae was our favorite dessert. Great place for kids! Wouldn't be our top choice for pizza or burgers.

Food was okay. Burger was okay (the ranch is not worth the extra cost though). Overall, it was okay. However, sitting downstairs felt like I was in a Chuck E Cheese. They have a basketball throw game that makes so much NOISE! It was frustrating trying to connect with folks at my table while hearing the BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG of basketballs being thrown and slamming against the metal cage. Having that game in a sit down restaurant is a choice. Left with a full stomach and a headache. Would recommend you ask to sit upstairs.

Such an awesome and fun place! The burger and pizza place are the same restaurant so you get so many options! Can’t go wrong when Chef Ramsays name is on the place!

Coming in knowing this place is street food as burgers, this place is what you'd expect. Very busy atmosphere. The food was yummy. My partner had the limited time Wellington burger and raved about it while my Backyard burger was just more simple. For a burger, it had an nice salt and pepper flavor and was juicy. I honestly can't complain but would look into adding more toppings next time. I did devour my sweet potato fries in an instant though. Crispy outside with a fluffy inside. The free photo booth downstairs was a lovely add-on!

Everything looked, smelled, and tasted wonderful. Fast,friendly service too. I ordered the OGR burger and GFC dirty fries for lunch and the charred eggplant pizza with fresh mozzarella to go. The burger and fries were perfectly cooked. The sauces were delicious and there was enough for great flavor without a saucy mess.
