Omakase that beats the neighbours on price, not skill

Yukimi prices its omakase below most of the Thảo Điền counters without skimping on the fish. The head chef spent over a decade training in Japan and worked through several of Vietnam's best known sushi rooms before taking the reins here.

Sushi and sashimi carry the menu, but the tempura is the standout, light enough to rival anything else in the city. The room seats only a handful, so book ahead instead of walking in.
