North Indian tandoor cooking on Lyndhurst Terrace
A rare South Asian bite on a street gone heavy Italian and East Asian: Punjab Warriors runs its menu through a clay tandoor brought in just for the restaurant, turning out North Indian breads, curries and grilled meats built from Punjabi home cooking, not the cricket team its name nods to.
Lyndhurst Terrace has turned into one of Central's busiest restaurant rows, with Le Le and Santa Nata a few doors down. Punjab Warriors keeps things mid-priced and group-friendly, with bread and curry sets sized for sharing across the table.

Went for the alacarte during lunch. Note the set menu is not available on weekends, weekends they have a brunch buffet for about 250 pp. but since these were some of the signature dishes we gave it a try. Lamb chops a bit overcooked and dry, but taste was good. Biriyani looks good and taste very nice but missing beef, it’s a little for moneys worth (since it is central pricing). Naan was good but nothing special.

Thank you Nish and Subba for the incredible service and let us feel like home. The food was amazing and I highly recommend the lamb chop. It was soft and tender, pairing well with the yogurt dip. The beef marrow was however a bit too overwhelming and the beef was dry and rubbery. We had a birthday cake for free and the band sang us songs all night long, it was wonderful. The coconut and passion fruit lassi was a breath of fresh air.

I ordered the chicken butter masala lunch set with plain naan and a lemonade via foodpanda, and unfortunately, it was a disappointment. The package arrived in a mess with the drink partially spilled. As for the food, the meal felt entirely unauthentic. The curry was watery, bland, and lacked any real spice—honestly, it felt like a meal made for children. The naan was mediocre at best and arrived barely warm. The only saving grace was the lemonade, which was refreshing, tart, and easily the best part of the order. Overall, i understand this lunch set is offered at a lower price, and the value is ok, but i think t's very easy to find better Indian food elsewhere in the area.

We had a wonderful dining experience. The ambience was lovely, the food was delicious, and all the staff were warm and hospitable. A special thanks to Mr. Nischal, who was exceptionally friendly, professional, and cheerful. His outstanding service made our dinner even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Good food and excellent service by our server Nabi. She was very welcoming and attentive. As I am not great with spices she recommended the salmon korma and also suggested that the lamb chop is a must try dish here which's spices would be balanced by the spinach raita. Just like she suggested the food were excellent. The salmon korma was very rich, creamy and just perfect. As for the lamb chop packed with flavours. Will definitely recommend this place to my friends and be back soon to try other dishes.
