Chicha-driven cooking built on what Andean women grow

Tatiana Rodríguez, the Tatta, buys straight from women smallholders in the southern Andes and builds her menu from whatever they bring in: squash, peas, turnip, jícama, the stuff most markets skip. Maize runs the whole kitchen, because maize makes the chicha, and the chicha threads through both the food and the drinks list.

Three courses average $22, starters around $5, mains $8. Chichas and juices are $4. Open Wednesday to Saturday, and Sundays until 4pm.
