44 seats, one permaculture farm, chef Driss Aloui
Almost everything on the plate comes from Sanctuary Slimane, the 25-acre permaculture farm the owners run outside Marrakech. Self-taught chef Driss Aloui cooks it in full view of the room, across just 44 seats in a restored Art Deco arcade in Guéliz.
Order the sea bream with harissa and chermoula salsa verde, the dish everyone ends up talking about. Time magazine named it one of the World's Greatest Places in 2025. Dinner runs Tuesday to Sunday, lunch Tuesday to Saturday.

I would come back again and again to this place - Specially for their monkfish. WOW! Everything delicious, staff very welcoming and they even sell the olive oil they produce. Don’t miss the olive oil cake!

Hands downs, one of the best meals I’ve had in Marrakesh! Went there for lunch and enjoyed every single bite. The food is bursting with flavor. Visiting this restaurant is a must. Our favorite dishes were the glazed eggplant, squash arugula, hanger steak, and last but definitely not least, the chocolate mousse. Decadent, moist, and just like everything else, bursting with flavor. 10/10!

Elegant restaurant located in a nice area of the city, we went with a group of 4 people for dinner. The elegance is accompanied by a relaxed atmosphere and an attentive and friendly service; the staff is noticeably prepared about what they offer and ready to give right recommendations. All the products come from their farm and you can feel it in every bite. The menu is thought to be shared and the dishes are of the right size to be shared in 4. Shout out to the prawns in aguachile, beef tataki, pappardelle with morels, the focaccia and all the desserts. Interesting cocktail and wine selection. ps: Well deserved spot in the 50 best restaurants!

Lovely meal at Farmers, service was incredible, place was clean, food delicious. The sea bass was unreal, the monkfish too, everything bouncing with flavour, acidity and freshness. The vegetable dishes were solid, really enjoyed the squash, the textures were really well balanced (although we did almost chip our teeth on a walnut shell). The aubergine was a bit heavy on the sesame, like super rich, could be dialled back a bit. Drinks were fantastic, the bloody Mary was so good - the rim was like nothing I've had before, and it was nice to taste a beer other than Casablanca or the Special one you see knocking about. Oh and a woman got her bare foot out and had it on show on her seat next to us at the table which was a bit weird.

Everything, the philosophy, the food, the ambience, the team… all perfect. This is the best restaurant in Marrakech and they deserve the recognition and awards they got. We had the taster menu which is perfect for larger groups. The eggplant was fantastic, and make sure you don’t skip dessert!
