Tea, coffee and cocktails in a century-old pleasure house

A baroque-detailed building that watched Wanhua rise and fade for a century now pours Taiwanese tea and coffee instead of anything scandalous. Chinese plates fill the menu, and weekends bring tea cocktails developed with bartender Lin Li-Rong.

Weekdays have no time limit and no service charge, generous for a room this photogenic. Walk past Longshan Temple and keep going toward the river.
