Soft Power Daan

The Bib Gourmand egg crepe comes home

Soft Power made its name in Liuzhangli with a Michelin Bib Gourmand, then moved across town and left the block without its danbing. Now it's back on the same old street, and the morning queue reformed like it never left.

The crispy egg crepe is the entire pitch. The menu here is shorter than the main store's, but the batter is identical, and that's the only reason anyone's standing in line.

A great breakfast place. It’s hidden in a very residential area and the space inside is small so had to wait a while before we got seats. Food wise, it’s pretty good. Line pay or cash.

Expect long wait time during breakfast hours as they get busy with delivery orders. Overall quality good and tasty, great breakfast place to stop by. Would recommend to try if in the area!

Worth the wait. Superb egg omelette with taro. Best radish cake so far in Taipei

The rice ball is really good and pairs well with the turnip cake. The warm, sweet black tea completes the meal perfectly. The Taiwanese hamburger is also nice, packed with plenty of filling. The total was 400 NT for two people. It’s a very filling breakfast, though slightly more expensive compared to other Taiwanese breakfast spots. Still, it’s worth visiting once in a while. The place seems much smaller now compared to how it looked in photos from years ago. The waitress will give you a barcode to order online. Pay after you send the order.

A cozy place while the price is a bit high. There Chinese egg rolls are great with crispy skin and flavorful sauce and stuffing. I like it a lot. Really recommend basil flavor to those who comes for the first time. Another special is their local dessert. The fried rice balls and sweet potato balls are both great while pricy as well. Overall, I think part of the price are from their interior design which makes you relax. Would suggest to take advantage their combo to save some money. Otherwise, the price is bit from fair in my opinion.
