Fishball noodles that haven't changed in generations
The fish balls have that springy bite that only comes from being made by hand, floating in a clear broth that tastes like it hasn't been tweaked in decades. The fish dumplings are the same recipe that made the original famous.
This isn't a destination restaurant, it's a noodle stop, and that's exactly why it works. Order the bowl, sit down, don't overthink it.

Extremely delicious, must order lime tea it was really good. Noodles are well seasoned and it was really a Michelin grade restaurant. It's quite hot inside and have some flies , be sure to chase them away from your food.

This is a Michelin guide recommended place for your fish ball noodles fix . The special egg noodles which is their signature is a must to order although I find that the taste is on the blend side . But of course you can add in the extra condiments on the table to make it your liking. I do love the “ Kiow” which is very nice . If I would have to choose whether to come to this place or the other fish ball stall I went . I would have to say the other one is better for me . Nevertheless , they are in the guide for the past 8 years so their food is good too .

If you never had yellow noodle with fish cake. This maybe your first entry to such taste. The taste is clean and averagely good. I had better but don't want to spoil the fun for others experience with it. Overall I enjoy the novelty of the simplicity of its craft and it's long tradition for its taste.

Absolute BANGER! If I could come back to Thailand just for one meal, Lim Lao Ngow is my choice. Having tried multiple Bib Gourmand places in Thailand, this was, by far, my favorite. Such a deep variety of flavors and textures, absolutely amazing and unique taste. Make sure you order Yen Ta Foo, which is a soup with noodles (you can choose the type - I recommend special egg noodles) and fish, which is served in different forms, including their famous fishball and crispy 'puffs' (I think fried wontons). On top, we had fried wontons (looking like nachos, but waaaay better) and crispy shrimp balls. Staff is extra friendly and helpful, food is prepared freshly for you, you can observe the superb technique of cooking the noodles. Make sure you plan your lunch there, as the place is open only until 2:30 pm

Went on 1st day of Lunar New Year and they are open! Simple and good food. Found out that the owner is Teochew and the fish skin dumplings with pork taste the same as those in Singapore ( only a few hawkers make it). Great find!
