French bistro classics return to North Lexington Ave

Crab bisque, endive salad, a lamb chop à la carte: Le Parisien plays it straight with French tradition instead of chasing trends. It took over the old Bouchon space, and Asheville had gone a while without a serious French kitchen to fill it.

The room keeps the classic bistro register, white tablecloths energy without the fuss. Dinner runs Wednesday through Sunday only, so plan around it.

Le Parisien made our anniversary celebration truly memorable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a warm and friendly hostess, and every member of the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The restaurant has an amazing, intimate atmosphere with a charming touch that makes it feel both elegant and cozy. The seating is comfortable, the tables are perfectly sized, and even the restrooms were spotless—it’s clear they pay attention to every detail. Every dish we ordered was outstanding. The starters were delicious, and the main entrées exceeded our expectations. The filet and ribeye were cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and expertly prepared. To top it all off, the crème brûlée was truly one of a kind and absolutely scrumptious. It was the perfect ending to an exceptional meal. A special thank you to our server, Wendel, who was phenomenal. He was attentive, personable, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. Even though our reservation was later in the night, we never once felt rushed and were able to relax and fully enjoy celebrating our anniversary. Le Parisien is easily one of the best restaurants we’ve ever dined at. We will absolutely be back the next time we’re visiting Asheville. Highly recommended!

Excellent food and presentation. Staff was very friendly. The steak au poivre was very tough but they replaced it promptly and gave a complimentary dessert. Very considerate.
