Coastal Italian on Spring Street, from the Southbound team
The same Lowcountry sourcing behind Southbound's live-fire cooking now goes into a coastal Italian menu a few blocks away. Free Reign Restaurants is betting the neighborhood can support two destinations from one kitchen team.
Allora sits right on Spring Street's restaurant row in Cannonborough-Elliotborough. Worth watching how it splits from its sister spot on flavor alone.

We had a great experience at Allora while celebrating our anniversary! What really stood out was how well they did all the little things. From the warm service and attention to detail to the presentation and overall atmosphere, everything felt thoughtful and genuine. Those small touches made our anniversary dinner even more special. Great food, wonderful hospitality, and a truly wonderful evening!

First things First. The staff and management are ROCKSTARS. Mateo, our server, was brilliant and helped with some delicious recommendations. The bartenders were making drink after drink with flawless precision. We enjoyed the Wagyu Beef carpacio and it was a delight to have. The mussels were without a doubt the star of the show OH EM GEE ! We then shared the clams over fresh pasta and we were so happy to make that choice. We even finished with some sorbet and a cannoli that was as good as I could remember any cannoli being from Bensonhurst Brooklyn. What a phenomenal experience. Please stop in ... And do NOT forget to visit the restroom by the bar lol iykyk ! Cheers

Very pretty during crape myrtle season! The rooftop dining is lovely during spring. Service is friendly and laid back, definitely no rush. The cocktails and charcuterie are excellent. Feels like a slice of Europe in Charleston.

Came with my aunt and uncle who are locals and always looking for the best restaurants in Charleston. Actually stunned that the Google rating was only 4.2 stars. We split a salad, two pasta dishes, the branzino and the bone marrow. It was all terrific!!! Sat at the bar since the update from a 2 seater to a 3 seater did not make it through open table (could have been user error) and they were very busy even though it was a Tuesday night. Tony the bartender was awesome. The bill for all the food, a round or two of cocktails and a bottle of wine was less than $100 per person before tip which I also thought was great. Pictures of bone marrow, bolognese pasta and branzino all were 5 out of 5 stars. Will definitely come back and highly recommend.

My girlfriends and I flew in for the couple of days and spent our last night at Allora! It was wonderful, the food was great but Ellie our server was phenomenal she knew so much about the menu and gave amazing advice on food and drinks! The atmosphere tied in the amazing experience as we were on the rooftop. Highly recommend you ask for Ellie as she is the best server hands down!! Ellie we love you!!! I got the chicken piccata and it was delicious! My girlfriends got the linguine le limone and the fried zucchini pasta they both loved! 10/10! Definitely coming back for our next Charleston trip!
