Filipino-Japanese dumplings meet shaved ice

Two things, done right: dumplings and kakigori, the fluffy Japanese shaved-ice dessert, both bent through a Filipino lens in one small room on Spring Street. There's no sprawling menu to wade through, just a narrow idea worked hard.

It fits right into Cannonborough-Elliotborough's run of single-concept spots, a sharper contrast to the full-menu restaurants stacked along King Street.

Great vibes. I love trying something new and it ends up checking all the boxes. Ended up here because another ramen spot was permanently closed. Please never let the “Matcha Grasshopper” drink go- it was such an amazing experience. Everything was tasty and I usually don’t enjoy raw fish. Chefs Kiss💋

Cute cozy place. Very nice staff! Food was good. We wanted to do the lunch or dinner menu that is shown on the website, but on Sundays it is only pay per item. Parking can be tight.

Just had dinner here tonight and 10/10 recommend!! Unfortunately I don’t remember our waiters name but he was SO attentive, sweet, and helpful! Atmosphere is beautiful and food was soooo good. Couldn’t recommend more! And street parking is easy which is great. Super unique cool vibe.

Phenomenal experience! Jessica was outstanding and made us feel like family. All the food was super yummy and brought comforts from home that reminded me of my nanay’s cooking. Definitely want to try Kultura next time!

I loved it here! The ambiance, the food, the service; it was all great! I enjoyed all the niche touches; the porcelain cat figures, the glassware, the artwork, everything fit together. I got the noodle soup and it had such a depth of flavor. The dumplings were the perfect size and cooked exactly as I hoped. I cannot wait to go back and bring friends!
