A supper club that finally took a corner
Daniel Parker and Liz Bendure met working at Lula Cafe. They've lived in Logan Square for over 15 years and have run Txa Txa as a roving supper club since 2021. On 6 March 2026 they opened a permanent home on West Fullerton, in the corner space Casa Yari left behind when it moved to Humboldt Park.
The name, pronounced cha cha, comes from txoko, the Basque word for a gastronomic society that gathers to cook and eat. The all-day menu is seasonal and roams: congee, papaya under sumac, tahini and coconut, panzanella dressed with tomato nuoc cham.

Fantastic addition to the neighborhood! Incredible menu with pastries, coffee, cocktails, wine, lots of snacks and larger portion options. The vibe and service is friendly and welcoming. The corn cake and pimento cheese were delicious and the espresso tonic was funky (in a good way!). I’ll be back!

The corn cake should be renamed to orange blossom cake, wasn’t really getting much corn from it and the combination of flavors wasn’t my favorite. Otherwise, a super cute space and would love to see their food menu expand in the future. The breakfast sandwich is good but very small. Wouldn’t be my first choice if I was super hungry and hoping for something substantial, but the vibes are great.

The staff, cafe, and presentation is everything! If you ever come here, you have to try the sandy 1000%, the egg is so beautifully presented, airy, and delicious. I think that if the corn cake had that similar quality of lightness (whipped?) to the frosting, maybe more lemon? it could be so much better, but that’s just me throwing suggestions. I got the corn cake + leet-tchee drink, not sure if it was the combination of the two together, but I did not enjoy it as much I thought I would. I’ve grown up on a lot of corn muffin, cake, meal, anything corn related we’ve made it. This one didn’t really hit the mark for me. The frosting is just a bit too overpowering for the size of the pan corn cake. I always want to try something new at least once, that pairing seems to be liked by a lot of other people so don’t knock it until you try it! The last order was my sister’s granola + yogurt, everything is so thoughtfully paired. I really loved my experience here and would visit again. Great location, service was great, and enjoyed my overall experience.

I was eager to check out TXA TXA Club when I saw they had a daily congee on their menu, and it hugely exceeded my expectations! I went early on a Saturday morning & sat at the bar, the staff were so easygoing and welcoming. One of the chefs even said hello, chatted with me for a bit, and welcomed me into the space. Very warm and sweet neighborhood gathering spot that has a menu unlike anywhere else. The papaya paired with the daily congee was out-of-this-world good—it’s a breakfast pairing I didn’t know I needed!! I will be back asap to try more!

First time at TXA TXA and I left very impressed! The staff was SO kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming — one of our servers even complimented my curly hair and we ended up chatting about curls for a bit, which was just a sweet interaction and testament to the approachability of this place. The food was really exciting and a little unexpected for a brunch spot (in the best way). It feels like the kind of place you could just as easily come back to in the afternoon for something casual and drinks. The atmosphere and music were lovely — relaxed, but still felt special. The coffee drinks were a highlight for me — I had the black sesame latte with oat milk and the lychee latte, both super unique and delicious. The pastries were great, but the breakfast sando absolutely STOLE the show. I’m already thinking about ordering a few next time. Can’t wait to come back, and definitely adding this to my list of spots to bring friends and out-of-town visitors!
