Dear Emilia

Handmade pasta, no theme, no gimmicks
The tagliatelle changes every week, and that's the whole point. Dear Emilia keeps a short, seasonal Italian menu instead of chasing a signature dish, so regulars come back to see what chef Ty Leon is rolling out next.
The room is small enough that the kitchen feels like part of the table, which makes weekend reservations tight. Ty Leon, Austin Carson and Heather Morrison opened it on Delgany Street with little fanfare, and word of mouth in RiNo has done the rest.

Dear Emilia exceeded our expectations. We ordered the Anolini and the Bistecca di Colorado, and both dishes were beautifully presented, absolutely delicious, and clearly crafted with great attention to detail. Every aspect of the dining experience felt thoughtful and intentional. The service was attentive, knowledgeable, and welcoming, and the atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable. It’s the perfect spot for a date night or special occasion. We had a wonderful evening and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing experience at Dear Emilia. Our server, Alandra at the chef’s counter, was exceptional, kind and creative. She chose our courses with wine pairings and couldn’t have picked them better! The dishes (and wines!) are thoughtful, unique, fun and delicious. 10/10 recommend! Can’t wait to get back!

First off, the atmosphere is so amazing. It's very chic and very comfy. Service was fabulous, everyone was so kind and very knowledgeable of the food and how they make it. They have a wonderful variety of wines, some I have never heard of. There is also a sommelier to help choose. The food was very good. The menu was well thought out and served in waves that made sense and built on one another. The menu is definitely made to share dishes to try a lot of the menu. We tried every pasta dish and loved everyone! Rich sauces and amazing flavors. Definitely great for a date night or business meeting. Or just grab some drinks and a dish to share.

Food was great. Unfortunately can't say the same about the wines. Some of them are good but they have a strong focus on Lambrusco. Then I ordered a Marsala wine and they brought me literally a shot. They need to improve that. Food was great.

Had a great time dining at Dear Emilia on a Saturday night. The food was delicious. Favorites were the lasagna verde, cheese souffle, and the steak but liked everything we ordered. Cocktails and wine were also great. Probably the best classic Negroni I’ve had. The hospitality and service were on point. Only complaint was that the dining experience took a long time (~2hrs) with a lot of waiting time between each course. Overall would recommend for a nice date night or special occasion and we will be back!
