Michelin-list pasta and natural wine in RiNo

Soda Club brought its Bib Gourmand pasta and natural wine concept down from New York, taking over a seventy-seat room built around a pasta bar inside the Ramble Hotel. Everything comes out of the kitchen made in house, and the wine list leans toward small producers instead of the usual hotel safety net.

It's an easy stop before or after a show at the Mission Ballroom a few blocks over, though the pasta alone is reason enough to detour into RiNo. Weekends bring a wait, since the hotel crowd and the neighborhood crowd both show up at once.

My friend and I went to Soda Club and really enjoyed our experience. I am so excited about this and several other new vegan options opening in Denver, and I've had the NYC location of Soda Club saved on my to-do list for ages. My friend had to order gluten-free, and I can't say I loved the gluten-free pasta options she got, but the appetizers we ordered — the heirloom tomato salad and broccolini — were exceptional, and I really enjoyed my Caramelle even if I think it could have been a little more filling. I got the Rare Manners spritz (so yummy) and a tiramisu to go too. Somebody People's tiramisu will always be my favorite tiramisu but this one was yummy, if small for the price. Overall, I am excited to go back, but my feedback would be to integrate in more fat and protein to make it a more rounded and filling meal and adjust some of the pricing.

Oh man, I hate writing any review that's less that stellar but my friends and I were solidly disappointed with this experience. We went the week after they opened so I'm cushioning the rating to give them some grace with opening. One of my group is medically gluten free so we were excited to have a new place that would have lots of options for her, and she looked at the menu online before to plan out some of her choices. Unfortunately several of the items that were listed online as GF or GFO were not listed as such on the physical menu and our waiter confirmed that the Tiramisu and Arancini were indeed NOT GFO. Would be very helpful if they could update the online menu to accurately reflect the dietary specifications. She started the meal super disappointed already because she was excited to have those options. The drinks and broccolini were excellent- I will give them that. We got the Buccatini (Tortellini prep but they were out of the Tortellini pasta at 7pm), Caramelle, and the Gigli. The Buccatini was quite dry but the Caramelle was drowning in the gremolata to the point where it was hard to get any flavor added to the pasta- it just felt like a watery broth with parsley mixed in. And we didn't realize until after we ate and saw pictures posted that the Gigli didn't have the fresh shaved truffle on top that it was supposed to have, s it had very little truffle flavor- just a bit from the crema, but even that was bland. And on top of all this the portions were TINY. For $24 per pasta I either need the portion or the flavor to shine, and this meal did neither. The caramelle was 5 pieces of actual pasta and I left hungry and bummed. I hope it improves, but I'm really not sure I'll give it another chance in this economy.

Absolutely incredible drinks, food, service, ambience. I am beyond excited that Denver finally has a great vegan restaurant of this caliber. I’ve tried almost all the dishes at this point and nothing fell shy of an 8/10, most dishes a legitimate 10/10. Gnocchi is possibly the best thing I’ve ever eaten

Honestly was hoping for better. The best thing I ate was dessert. Everything was kind of bland. Our server was kind enough. Unsure if I’d go back.
