Brunello

Mid-century Italian cinema, styled into a dining room
The dining room takes its style from mid-century Italian cinema, more than most Summerlin restaurants bother with. The cooking stays classical.
Brunello opened in October 2024 on Sun City Boulevard in Summerlin, taking the space that My Mother's House had held. It arrived in a part of the valley whose Italian options had mostly been chains.

We tried this place on July 3rd and now I am wondering why it took us so long! Several local Sun City residents recommended and they were spot on. This is not only Sun City Summerlin's best kept secret, but probably all of the LV Valley. The food is amazing to include things for the GF foodie! Prices are very reasonable and the Staff is amazing. The Happy Hour is worth checking out as well. Check out the Pollo Piccata for that GF diet! Support local restaurants like this!

Finally an Italian restaurant in Vegas that has flavor and not just serving the same ol food. 1st time here today for my birthday and it won't be my last. So many dishes on the menu that I've never heard of but the ingredients sound amazing. Thank you for such a wonderful birthday experience.

PHENOMENAL from start to finish! We began with the Beet Salad, followed by the Brunello Signature Pasta and the Pear Fagotti, and of course finished with the tiramisu. Every single dish was outstanding. The flavors were beautifully balanced, layered, and thoughtfully composed — we truly savored every bite. Even the bread service, paired with their delicious tomato dipping sauce, was memorable. Without a doubt, this was one of the most complex and satisfying Italian dinners we’ve ever experienced. The pear and Gorgonzola pasta was especially remarkable — perfectly balanced between sweet and savory in a way we’ve never had before. It was creative, refined, and absolutely delicious. Oscar, our server, made the evening even better. He was attentive, efficient, and genuinely kind — especially impressive considering he was handling the floor after multiple staff members had called out. His professionalism did not go unnoticed. We will 100% be back to explore more of the menu. And for the quality and execution of the food, the prices were incredibly reasonable. An unforgettable dining experience!

Brunello at Sun City delivers the kind of Italian comfort that keeps you thinking about your next visit before you’ve even left the table. Their cioppino is the standout—rich, aromatic, and overflowing with fresh seafood in a broth that tastes like it simmered all day. It’s the kind of dish that makes you pause after the first bite because it’s that good. The lobster ravioli is just as impressive. Silky pasta, generous lobster filling, and a sauce that ties everything together without overpowering the seafood. It feels indulgent in the best way. Warm service, a relaxed neighborhood atmosphere, and consistently excellent food make Brunello a true gem in Sun City. If you love Italian cuisine—especially seafood—this spot deserves a place at the top of your list

Family in town and needed a nice dinner out! Oscar our waiter was truly so kind and offered amazing service! Everyone was super friendly and it was amazing food as well! The Nona meatballs were delicious, so many appetizers and dishes to choose from but truly you cannot choose wrong. Definitely a great stop in for some authentic Italian food!
