The Taco Stand

Tijuana-style tacos, one of the city's few good ones
Tijuana style means mesquite-grilled fillings and tortillas pressed in house. There are only a handful of genuinely good taquerias in this city, and this is one of them.
The Taco Stand opened its second Las Vegas location on 7 August 2025 in Suite 150 on South Fort Apache Road near Summerlin, following the Chinatown shop on Spring Mountain Road. The group runs sixteen locations across Southern California, Dallas and Miami.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Taco Stand on Charleston is hands down my favorite Mexican food spot in Las Vegas. I eat here at least once a week and bring friends, family, clients—pretty much anyone looking for incredible food. I honestly haven’t had a single thing on the menu that I didn’t absolutely love. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and authentic. My personal favorite is the Al Pastor Vulcan—it’s so good that I order it almost every visit. I usually end up taking another order to go because I know I’ll be craving it later. What really sets this place apart is the staff. They always treat me like a king, greet me with a smile, and are constantly hooking me up with little extras. They genuinely make you feel appreciated as a customer, and that level of hospitality keeps me coming back. If you’re looking for amazing Mexican food with outstanding service, do yourself a favor and check out The Taco Stand on Charleston. It’s one of those rare places that gets it right every single time.

After missing authentic San Diego taqueria's, I found my place here. Super delicious and HUGE meat-loaded burritos. One of the best California Burritos I've had, grilled outside and so fresh even the fries were crispy! Fantastic salsa bar selection, all delicious choices. Last, the CHURROS are the BEST I've ever had. The photo shows they look really dark and you would be worried. But trust me, they are made FRESH and are super super fluffy and crisp on the outside and with the perfect dipping sauce.

1st time to visit The Taco Stand. The restaurant was busy. People eating in and also waiting for takeout orders. This isn't a big place. Marilyn took my order. Very pleasant and efficient. She helped me choose from their menu. I ordered 2 grilled fish tacos. When I took my first bite, I understood why it was so busy. Excellent flavors. I will be back.

Tasty Mexican food. I had a burrito and the corn. The variety of salsas are delicious. My favorite was a sauce they had that was an oily salsa paste. Lots of umami. The California burrito was good. I was deciding between a taco or burrito but thought I’d try the burrito this visit. It was meaty and flavorful. I like it spicy so adding the salsa kicked it up a notch. The downside is I probably wouldn’t get the corn again. I like my corn with some char. This corn is boiled and sauced so it’s not my favorite. I’m looking forward to trying out the tacos next time. They make their own corn tortillas.

I had the pork al pastor burrito for $10. The meat was cooked very nicely and it had an outstanding flavor. The salsa bar has six or seven salsas which were all homemade and tasty. Definitely come here.
