An Arizona roaster finally lands on 3rd Street, patio included.
Cartel Roasting Co. has roasted coffee in Arizona since 2008 and opened its Beverly Grove café in June 2026, its first real outpost in Los Angeles. The room is bright and low-slung, closer to a Scottsdale hotel lobby than a coffee bar.
The drinks menu covers the usual cappuccinos and iced matcha, plus seasonal specials that read more like mocktails, including a mango Tajín matcha latte. Sandwiches come in from Uncle Paulie's; there's no kitchen on site.
