The Venice wine shop takes the Moon Juice space next door and fills it with cheese.
Vin on Rose has poured natural wine on Rose Avenue for years. In June 2026 the team took over the neighboring unit (most recently Moon Juice) and turned it into a fromagerie and sandwich counter.
Shelves hold charcuterie, tinned fish and cheese; a small daily sandwich menu runs off them. Expect jamón beurre and caprese alongside a duck rillette bánh mì and a French onion grilled cheese.

I walked in during lunch and ordered the tuna sandwich. I love how quick and easy it is to grab and go! The tuna itself was incredible, not to mention the crunchy and chewy sourdough bread and fresh veggies. 11/10 no notes

JOSH IS THE KING OF CHEESE! 🧀🧀 My go to place to get cheese for every single occasion or just because - it’s simply the best. And YES I drive 30+ minutes to get there. Worth. It. The fromagerie was the best add on that the OG wine shop needed. I thank you all so much!!!!! Will be back. Cheers, A

RUN to this lovely location for a European style experience. I had the most memorable lunch with my girlfriend. Wishing this business the very best and trust that guests to the city and neighbors alike will enjoy this treasure. We need more like it in Los Angeles.

Obsessed with this place. Such a cute, vibey spot and honestly one of the best new additions to Venice. I had the sardines with gluten-free crackers and cheese and it was so good—everything tasted super fresh and perfectly paired. You can tell there’s a lot of intention behind every detail. Perfect for a laid-back snack with friends or sandwich to-go. Already planning my next visit!

Holy Moly! I was blown away when I walked in to this new shop by the same purveyor as Vin on Rose, which is right next door. Delicious sandwiches, thoughtfully chosen cheeses, tin fish, snacks, and so very much more. I got some fancy french butter, that is to die for. So happy to have this special spot in Venice.
