Sweetwater
Los Angeles Opened June 2026
A lesbian-owned nightclub opens on Santa Monica Boulevard for Pride.
Sweetwater opened on Santa Monica Boulevard during Pride month in June 2026, adding a lesbian-leaning, all-inclusive room to a strip whose queer nightlife has skewed heavily male for decades.
The venue is built for programming, not just drinking: two bars, a front patio, and a dance floor with a stage that hosts DJs, live music and events through the week.
