Momo Sake Bar
★ 5.0 · 16 reviews Los Angeles Opened June 2026
A strip-mall sake bar with a peach logo and no Momofuku connection.
The peach on the sign invites the wrong assumption. Momo Sake Bar, which opened on Beverly Boulevard in June 2026, has nothing to do with the Momofuku group. The chef came up at Nobu.
It sits in a strip mall and keeps the menu tight: sushi plus Korean-inflected izakaya dishes like galbi-glazed steak, sashimi served with ssam, and bibimbap with snow crab and scallops. Sake and beer to drink.

Visited Momo Sake Bar for the first time over the weekend, and we’re already looking forward to coming back! Chef Peter constructed a simple menu that focuses on the high quality of fish/food he is serving, which is apparent in every dish. Several of the nigiri’s we ordered were the best quality of that particular fish we have had. He is an ex-Nobu chef, but in our opinion the quality of fish he uses far surpasses that of Nobu. Aside from the raw preparations, Peter also emphasized that he equally focuses on cooked dishes and ‘sake bar’ style of dining. He has a well-curated sake list, which we sampled a handful of and every tasting was delicious! We’re looking forward to trying more of the cooked dishes from the menu on our next visit. Peter, our server Paul, and the rest of the staff were extremely kind and informative. They are all clearly passionate people who are knowledgeable at their craft. Highly recommend visiting Momo, and we expect to visit on a regular basis!

The most perfect neighbour spot. We love it here. The food in incredibly fresh, the menu is delicious, the staff are delightful and it’s great value. The yellowtail, tuna, baked crab rolls, cucumber salad are some highlights, but truely we’ve tried almost everything on the menu now and nothing has disappointed. A must visit.

Small neighborhood sake & sushi spot with a focused menu. Everything they serve is delicious. The fish is high quality and you can tell there’s real attention to detail. Unique sake offerings (e.g. no Kikusui). The owner is warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what he does. Knowing he was formerly a sushi chef at Nobu makes perfect sense once you taste the food.
