Osigye

A mother and her two daughters cook whole-chicken hot pot in Koreatown.
Osigye opened on South Western Avenue in June 2026, run by a mother and her two daughters. The specialty is dak hanmari-style whole-chicken hot pot. The bird arrives whole in a bubbling broth you choose: original, spicy, or an odd pesto version with no obvious precedent in Koreatown.
A half-chicken set runs as a weekday lunch special. The sides are worth the detour on their own, particularly spicy buckwheat noodles with crab and a salad of oyster flower and seaweed.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Osigye is easily one of the best Korean dining experiences I’ve had. Every dish was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The chicken hot pot was rich, comforting, and full of depth, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out. Every bite tasted authentic and made with care. The service was just as impressive. The staff was warm, attentive, and took the time to explain the menu and make sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. They were friendly without being overbearing, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for outstanding Korean comfort food with exceptional hospitality, Osigye is absolutely worth visiting. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable meal!

I had my friends gathering here. Very spacious venue and great food. Everyone in my party was very satisfied with the taste. They told me they already visited again second time

Chicken soup was very tasty, gigantic portion, side dish was tasty. If they can clean up the finished table who was already left that would be nicer.

This place offers delicious chicken noodle hotpot and quality banchan. I especially liked the rice porridge they make at the end (for an extra fee) using the chicken broth and bits of chicken. I used to live in Seoul and it reminded me of eating delicious food in the city.
