Dolly's 245-room hotel with a giant guitar for a doorway
Walk in through a doorway shaped like a giant guitar. The third floor holds Dolly's Life of Many Colors, the largest exhibit about her life. That makes this part hotel, part pilgrimage site.
Dolly Parton has theme parks but never a hotel until this one: a 245-room tower on Commerce Street. It's developed with Herschend, the family company behind Dollywood. Broadway has no shortage of celebrity bars. A full hotel built around one artist is a different order of thing.
Good to know
- The Dolly's Life of Many Colors museum on the third floor is ticketed separately from hotel stays; book both if you're a fan.
- The opening slipped from June to fall 2026; confirm dates before planning a trip around it.

The Dolly Parton SongTeller Hotel is perfectly Dolly in every way! Although the hotel is not officially open yet, we were fortunate enough to get a sneak peek, and the areas that are nearing completion are absolutely beautiful. There are so many unique details and thoughtful Dolly-inspired touches throughout the property that truly capture her personality, warmth, and unmistakable style. What made our visit even more special were Shannon and Andi. They are tremendous assets to this hotel and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, happy, and genuinely acknowledged. Their kindness and hospitality represent everything you would expect in true Dolly fashion: gracious, personable, warm, and focused on making everyone feel special. Even before opening its doors, you can tell this hotel is going to be something truly unique in Nashville. We feel incredibly fortunate to have had a preview and cannot wait to come back and experience the finished hotel as soon as it officially opens!
