The Gilmore

Nashville Opened 21 May 2025

12 South's first hotel, built for the group-trip crowd

Units here run from studios to four-bedroom suites, done in a Mediterranean-leaning style built for groups rather than solo travelers. Within months of opening it was topping local hotel rankings.

The Gilmore opened in May 2025 at 12th Avenue South and Gilmore Avenue, the first hotel 12 South has ever had. It's also the debut full-service hotel from short-term-rental company AvantStay, developed with owner M Cubed.

Good to know

• The four-bedroom suites are built for group trips; per-person they undercut booking four downtown rooms.
• You're steps from the 12th Avenue South strip: Draper James, Five Daughters doughnuts, the murals.
