Cambria Hotel Portland Pearl District

★ 4.6 · 162 reviews Portland Opened August 2025

178 rooms, right in the Pearl District

Skip downtown. This 178-room hotel puts you inside the Pearl District, walking distance from its galleries, restaurants and the North Park Blocks, instead of a cab ride away.

It's the only new hotel Portland got in 2025, and it fills a real gap: a neighborhood packed with restaurants and shops but short on beds. Works for a weekend trip or a work stay tied to the Pearl's business district.

The room was clean, spacious, at a great temperature. The standup shower had great water pressure and good lighting. Had the best smash burger ever at the restaurant! Staff was friendly and the location was walking distance to shopping, dining and supermarket. We will stay there again on our next trip to Portland!

Everyone was very nice, the hotel including the rooms are all very clean and the beds and pillows are very comfortable. The only thing I would say is bring a white noise machine or a small fan, there’s pretty much no insulation between the rooms- you can hear the neighbor opening their curtains, the people that share the wall with the bed having a conversation, and every single thing going on in the hallway (including the little dog that missed his mom and was crying for 2 hours) lol The food is also solid. The marketplace by the front desk is meh-it’s a bunch of gas station junk. I expected to see some really cool healthier snack ( maybe something from Thrive market or similar) being that it’s Portland.

We loved our 3 night stay at the Cambria! The beds were so comfortable, nice clean rooms with good blackout blinds, and great shower pressure. Valet parking was a bit pricy, but there is a good secure parking garage a 5 minute walk away with in/out (Bewery Blocks parking garage).

Great place, friendly capable staff, but there were no in room amenities like coffee maker etc... They had everything downstairs, but if you don't like that, well, can't really help you. Super clean room, excellent water pressure, nice view of the park, quiet in the morning (didn't hear cleaning staff outside on the floor or in other rooms ). Will absolutely go back!

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel has a very nice, clean, and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone on the staff was friendly, professional, and eager to help. We also enjoyed dining at the on-site restaurant, Recess. We tried the Smash Burger and the Steak Frites, and both were delicious. I'm genuinely surprised this is only a 3-star hotel. Based on the cleanliness, service, and overall experience, it felt like it deserved a higher rating. We would happily stay here again.
